Niche (neesh) is the way we say it in England (and I think it is the Australian pronunciation as well) while Nitch is the US pronunciation. You can say it anyway you like (although, I am compelled to point out that there's a reason it's called the English language)

I say neesh when I refer to IM thanks to the videos I watched last year, haha. I use the "American" pronunciation elsewhere, otherwise nobody knows what on earth I just said.
Here in Michigan, we say it "nitch" because it has an "i" in it. Otherwise, we might say we were be feeshing for good keywords to make us reech... (maybe even feelthy reech). At least that's how we say it here in Meechigan.
