Vacation and health issues slow down module completion

I just started The Challenge, and am still working through the pre Challenge and will be soon working on Module 1, but got notified by my family that we are taking a vacation in 2 weeks. Will that affect anything? I also had to slow down a bit due to a personal health issue, so I am slightly behind in modules. I will keep on going with this, but was wondering if delays will cause problems in the 30 day deadline.
    Please advise,
    Karen T.

    Hi Karen

Take your time and enjoy your vacation, the Challenge will still be ready and waiting whenever you are ready!

The name was changed from the 30 Day Challenge to "The Challenge" quite some time back to reflect the fact that real life can get in the way and some Challengers need to set their own comfortable pace - there is no longer a specific "deadline" - the Challenge training runs year round now

Ha! I'm on day 90, I'm still working at it... I think what's important is not how long it takes but that you are always making some kind of forward progress, that you don't lose momentum.
I'm a mom and I've had to take lots of breaks, but I always try to do at least one thing a day related to the Challenge, even if it's only thinking about it in my head.
Enjoy your vacation but be looking for opportunities to think of niche keywords or scribble down article ideas once in a while, that's what I do.

I think the Challenge is a continuing process. It is not just linear learning but something more dynamic. The way I look at it you can take the day 1 to day 7 lessons consecutively but you can take a break anytime you want in between. But the idea that you have to finish everything in exactly 30 days is really a matter of choice and not a rule that you have to follow strictly. If you get sick or otherwise have something more important to do, then by all means rest or do whatever is more important first and then proceed accordingly.

If you want to skip lessons because if for some reason you feel that it is not applicable in your case, then you can do that to. But, I think it would be best if you at least watch all the lessons once and decide for yourself if you need it or not. There is a good reason why they structured the Challenge this way, with different modules and lessons in between.

Finishing all the modules would be a good idea though, but from time to time, especially when you start applying the lessons, you will find that you will have to go back to some previous lessons to understand things more clearly. Applying the lessons that you learn is more important than watching the videos and reading the pdf files. But as you learn by applying the lessons, certain concepts that you did not understand fully will be become clearer. Also, you must be prepared to go back to certain modules and/or lessons to find/revisit ideas and seek more clarification.

Do not be surprised if you find you will have to do further research to solve problems not covered by the Challenge. It was never designed to answer every question but does give you the over all basic knowledge that you will need to help you make your first dollar. You can find the more advance stuff in the other programs and courses offered by Ed Dale and the team. While it is an additional cost, you can easily find a $1 trial offer where you can have a taste of what you will learn and see for yourself if it fits your needs.

And if anybody gets stuck you can always get into this forum and ask for help.
