I'm a linux user, now what?

My computer runs on Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Linux Distro). I have try to install Market Samurai with Wine, but there haven't been any luck with getting it to work. Then I use Market Samurai on my wife computer, but the spec wouldn't allow it to function properly. It takes close to 30 minutes to generate my seed keyword list and when it don't take forever to run it is consistently crashing. I am willing to do my keyword research manually, due to my current headache with MS. It seem as if I have no other choice at the moment. If anyone have any other suggestions, please list them. If not can you tell me how to do the Keyword Research manually. I need to know specific how to come up with PBR and what to max out on Local Monthly searches. I know the minimum is 2400 monthly search, which is 80 per day. SEOC with "". Also, I am currently wondering how to do the SEO Matrix manually. Please let me know, this is some valuable information for my success. Thanks!

I'd like up "Google AdWords Keyword Tool" which is where Market Samurai gets it's keyword data. It looks like you'll have to manually use Google AdWords Keyword Tool to do many of the same tasks that Market Samurai does.

I'M an linux user as well, using ubuntu 12.04 lts. You can't run MS in linux any more since adobe stopped support for adobe air on linux which i was not happy about, the solution that i am using is to run MS in ubuntu is to run Windows xp in virtual box. I had a problem with MS being very slow, i mean hours to run and after talking to noble samurai support found a solution. The problem was "microsoft security essentials" was causing MS running in virtual box to run really slow, so now i don't run anti-virus in windows xp in a virtual machine and it made all the difference, now it runs like it should.
No!, it really is as bad as you think it is.

    virtualization

I also use ubuntu 12.04 lts however virtualbox seems to cause problem to some users now. including me.
Whenever my VM has started up and i want to do some configuration or install an application it reboots my whole PC!!!

So I tried installing VmWare and at least my XP VM works and even managed to install Market Samurai, however when i click the keyword reasearch tab,it wants to open some youtube video or something and I want to logon with my credentials but then it closes MS automatically. I don't know if flash is causing the problem or something else. Would be nice if i can get MS working in linux

I'm a linux guy too. I was one of the first Redhat certified engineers back in the 90s. I love all things linux but I do keep windows on a dual boot for this purpose. I even setup an Atom based desktop just for the challenge but MS is super slow even without MSE running. It would never run XP with any kind of speed. Maybe one day, if I start coding again, I could build a python based tool just for linux. But right now I'm too focussed on my own income sites to be bothered with it. It's just cheaper/easier to figure out a Windows only setup.

That being said, manually research is a LOT of work. I use Market Samurai to dig out the nice words and then just reboot back to Linux to work on my websites. Irony it seems is using the inferior OS to find the microniche to dominate with a superior OS.
