I haven't been on the forums in a while, so I just wanted to leave an update. Admittedly, I haven't done anything new to my site for the passed two months - but I definitely plan to change that in the next few weeks to follow.
Just yesterday I noticed that my site was ranking on the 2nd spot in Google. I hadn't checked my analytics for over a month (work has been pretty hectic as of late), so I figured I'd give it a look. Turns out, I started the month with 150 visits per day. Since then, my site has continued to grow and, just last Sunday (the 24th), traffic has grown to over 300 visits in one day (90%+ from search engine traffic)!
I was ecstatic, especially considering that I haven't done much with the site in a long time and still it managed to leap from the 5th spot in Google to the 2nd spot for my primary keywords. And this was a new milestone I've never seen before - it really got me motivated to start building new websites.
Since then, I started working on an e-commerce website I'm building to hopefully start selling physical products in a niche I really love. And I have you all to thank for it! If it wasn't for The Challenge and the support I've received here, I don't think I would have been motivated enough to make this possible. So thank you everyone!
The Challenge works - but only if you stay dedicated and disciplined to getting those results. It was no easy road along the way, but it was (and IS) a challenge that I've enjoyed wholeheartedly. I definitely plan to stick around - and I can't wait to see what lies in store for us in the next challenge!
