    Hey everyone! A few questions.

    So i'm 20 years old.

I'm not looking for quick money, but I AM looking for a good steady source of income for myself.

I have seen people talking about how IM can really buy you a lot of time and you can be earning a great deal of money for the amount of time invested working.

Yep, i am quite lazy. But since i haven't investigated it myself, i want to know is that true?

I have a LOT OF TIME currently.
Wanted to invest it into something productive and fun(If IM is fun. Because right now i have NO idea whatsoever as to what to do)

I still want to pop a few old questions.

Say i work steadily for like 4-5 hours a day daily for 3 months, how much can i expect to earn?
(Assuming i am not a crackhead who does the same thing again and again and expects it to work. NO. I am ready to change things if needed.)

Is it too high of a goal to want to earn 1000$/month within 3 months after putting in my work day after day?

What's the learning curve like? I mean i hope it is like a skill, in which case i am ready to look at it as something long term instead of a rabbit comes out of a magic hat trick where the magician creates something out of nothing. I mean investing time really is something afterall, it's NOT FREE!

    Expecting some answers fellas.
Don't keep me waiting for too long, i'm eager to start.

PS: Infact i've already started but this darn software is not giving me any keywords back!

Hello and welcome to The Challenge!

Say i work steadily for like 4-5 hours a day daily for 3 months, how much can i expect to earn?

It doesn't work that way. This isn't a job where all you have to do is put in the time and you automatically get paid. This is creating a business, not working for one.

Reality check: Most new businesses fail. Most new internet businesses fail. Most people can't deal with failure. All successful internet marketers started by having failures.

The only way to know if you're cut out for the world of internet marketing is to give it a go.

But if you try to approach it as a job, you're sunk. Making money doesn't come from "doing the work." It takes just as much time and effort and sweat and tears to make a site that earns zero dollars as it does to make one that pays. If your site isn't paying, it's up to you to figure out why and fix it. This isn't a "click your way to riches" deal. It's a way of getting started that gets you going with proper fundamentals.

It's like learning how to play baseball in Little League. Not everyone who gets great coaching in Little League makes it to the majors. But it's a safe bet that all the Major Leaguers started out by learning the fundamentals in Little League.

PS: Infact i've already started but this darn software is not giving me any keywords back!

The only guarantee in internet marketing is obstacles. They start at the very beginning and they NEVER END. Never. You simply have to develop the mindset that you will find a way past them no matter what and the only way that I know of to do that is to take total responsibility for everything. It isn't the job of the software to find the keywords, it's your job. If it isn't working, look for help. Have you tried Googling "Market Samurai Tips"?

    You might even find mine.

    Good luck and have fun!

That made a lot of sense.

    MY OWN BUSINESS!!

    I'm jazzed up haha!

Alright, let's see if there's some obstacle out there that's big enough for me.

    MS is working.

    Just got a new update.
    Must be some problem.

I think i didn't communicate it properly, but what i wanted to say was - Is it possible to work for 4-5 hours ON MY OWN BUSINESS to maintain a good steady income.

I mean i want to have a sustainable thing going on for me, not something that will tire me out and stuff.

    Anyways, you're correct.
I am going to give it a shot and find out for myself what's wrong or right for me.

Thanks for that post. You've pointed me in the right direction.

So Dean would it make sense to assume failure as default and just work to learn the process at the start?

I mean after the last two hours of researching keywords i found a good one.
I am definitely making something out of this one.

Only one completely green row in seo Competition but lots o category keywords.
More than 5 qualifying challenge criteria, and seems like it has good commercial value as well.

So would it make sense to just shoot a few sites up, and see what works, to get the process down in my brain instead of investing myself too much to make a perfect business out of this?

How do you think when you put websites up? How do you think when you start a new business?

What do you focus on the most?

Like say, you're researching keywords, what do you focus on?
You're working on the squidoo lense, what do you focus on?

I want to know how you think!

PS: Yes i am bad with grammar.

I always go into it with the idea of making a kick-ass site that adds value to the market and engages my visitors in a way that inspires them to take action on my offer. I go into it doing the best I can every time and following The Challenge guidelines - which gives me the best possible chance for success. I go full bore for the win.

But if the site ends up going nowhere, I don't freak out - I try to figure out why and I move on from there.

So Dean would it make sense to assume failure as default and just work to learn the process at the start?

No. I would make sense to be ready for any outcome while working hard on learning the process.

Wow, why didn't i think of that?

    No assumptions.

Hey thanks a lot for the advice.

I just bought the domain + Hosting from GoDaddy.com
Good commercial indicators or whatever that complicated word is.
I'd prefer stuff for people to buy.

KICKASS SITE is on its way!

    Haha!
