    bridge sites

I just saw a tweet by ed on bridge sites and how the adwords accounts of a few people were suspended. Does this affect adsense?.

No!, it really is as bad as you think it is.

If you're not running a bridge site, then it doesn't matter. In the matter of what constitutes a bridge page, they're pretty clear. Google's Bridge Page Policy.

So if you're running a Challenge style market leader quality site that genuinely adds value to the market, then you don't have to worry about being a bridge page.

As for whether or not this affects Adsense accounts, it is best to check the Adsense Policies Guide.

Unlike the Adwords Policy, I don't see any specific mention of "bridge pages," but that's just me mouthing off, and not an "expert" opinion.

It doesn't matter if you're in Adsense or Adwords, or just some guy with a website...it isn't hard to understand what Google wants from you. They want websites that the people using their search engine like when Google sends them there. They want sites that help users more than they help webmasters. They want you to be good.

The reason i had asked was, i've got 2 websites one is an old school html site built in 99 or 2000 hosted on tripod using trellix to build it and a wordpress site built during the challenge both of which are for the same business. The "contact us" page on the old html site just has a "mailto: link, i was thinking a contact form might be better to have in stead of the mailto link. I was thinking it might be just as easy to setup the "contact us" page so that when someone clicked the page that it took them to the contact form on the wordpress site which has adsense so i'm not sure if thats a good idea or bad idea or to just say forget it and just leave it as is.

    I'd leave it as is.

This isn't expert advice, but I would check the Adsense policies very carefully before automatically redirecting people to a page with Adsense on it. It just strikes me as the sort of thing they might take issue with.
