Competition question

Hi everybody,

I have a question about competition. Let say I wanna target the key phrase how to have a 6 pack. Since I'm a french canadian, I'll try to do some affiliate fromt he same key phrase but in french. The competition for this key phrase is low and it has 1900 global research [exact] and large over 40k. The number one website on page one has only 69 backlinks and these are low PR backlinks. But the only problem is that this guy has the domain : howtohave6pack.net (in french) if I can find a similar domain and beat him with more backlinks I should rank before him right ? or the domain name has a huge weight for this key phrase ?

Domain weight is never huge, but it is an edge we use to our advantage when niche testing.

It isn't necessarily that simple, which is why The Challenge is a niche testing method. If you meet The Challenge guidelines, give it a go. If not, keep looking.

Okay and quick question about social bookmarking Social voting ... how can I build multiple links from them ? just post like a few sentence on posterous with a backlinks and use pingomatric.com to tell google "hey I ahve a backlinks there" ?
