Market Samurai "loading google keyword tool" message then nothing...
Hey there, I'm sure this is such a newbie question but I'm not getting any luck at all with
Market Samurai. I just keep getting the message saying it's loading the google keyword
tool and then I wait and wait and wait and nothing happens. The last couple of tries
I got the message: "retry limit exceeded. This is often a temporary issue; please try again later"
I read the thread on MS and this is different from the lock out message mentioned there for
google but perhaps it's the same thing?? Anyone? Help greatly appreciated!

If you haven't done it already, install the latest update to Market Samurai. Google made some changes to their keyword tool which caused the "retry limit exceeded" error for everyone using MS. An update to correct the problem was issued on 1/16 (I believe), which resolved the matter for MS users, including me.
Unless you changed the default selection, MS will alert users to new updates as soon as the program is opened, so you've likely done the update already and are not experiencing the problem any longer. If not, then;
- Select "File" from the upper-left corner of the app,
- Select the "Updates" tab on the left,
- Select the "Always check for updates on startup" option (so the check mark appears) and then,
- Push the "Check for Update" button.
Voila! You should be good-to-go.

Thank you very much for your help. Really good of you. I stumbled on this through google searching and it was the problem. I didn't think of it
as I'd just downloaded MS a few days before. Thanks again for taking the time. Much appreciated.

You're very welcome. I'm glad that you solved the problem. Google is simply magical, huh?
Good luck with your efforts! Make 2012 a banner year!

I have been having the same problem for the past 4 days. So now I am completely stuck. I have checked my updates and it says I have the newest version. Where to from here?
