    Problems with adding services to posterous

    Hi fellow challengers,

    When trying to add the various blogging services to my posterous network, I keep seeing this message.

    "We were not able to authenticate this account. (Reason: HTTP-Error: 302 Redirect)"

    the services that I'm having an issue with are Identica, Xanga and Livejournal.

    Xanga shows that 302 redirect thing, while Identica doesn't even show any reason, just the first part without parentheses. and for Livejournal, posterous doesn't seem to have that anymore in the option. I guess that has to do with the recent upgrade of posterous?


    Does anyone have an idea how to solve this issue? I've added other services--facebook page, twitter, wordpress.com, tumblr and blogger without any problem.

    I'm having the same problem. While I understand Posterous removed Identica and LiveJournal from the list, I can't seem to add Xanga because of the 302 Redirect.

    This is so frustrating! Well, I guess I'll just post everything manually on those three.

    I received the same error messages also. I proceeded to add other services that were available to auto post articles to. This was also recommended in the videos to investigate other services that were available at Posterous.

    Christina,

    To tell you the truth, the only other service that I tried adding after some of the recommended ones were not available, was "Deliceous" . I had one problem afterwards though. When I tried auto posting to all accounts including "Deliciceous", my post failed on "deliciceous" only. All others worked fine. It has been nine days since I checked my Posterous account and it it still showing trying to post to "deliciceous"

    Ah. I haven't tried Delicious. I'll check into that! Thanks. By the way, I'm starting Module 4 today! Fell a bit behind in Module 3, but now I'm all caught up.

    I am having the same issue with adding livejournal to posterous. I guess I will skip that and see if I can add delicious. Regards, Max
