Google Analytics Stats

Hi Guys, I hope you're all fit and well?

I've been looking into my stats in various sources of late (Google Analytics (GA), Bitly, NotLong, 3.ly, etc, etc and my hosting company Midphase's own stats as well). I'm told by various authorities on the matter that my most reliable source, esp for uniques, is my hosting company/server source (same thing of course)!!.

My GA stats will show no visitors to my site when my hosting company/Midphse shows several hundreds of unique visitors (eg GA = 0 VISITORS and Midphase = 575 visitors!!)

So the big question is why do I need to waste my time on GA stats?

There's a lot of different stat engines out there, Google is free.
I've actually just been watching my Alexis rank lately.
