Experimenting With Additional Exposure Techniques While Testing
There are many things we can do to increase the exposure of our websites, such as RSS techniques and pinging, posting Youtube videos, paying to post Press Releases, etc...
My question is if it's best to stick to just Posterous posts and blog posts until we reach the 200 impression/Affiliate click mark (and make a decision on whether our site passes the test) before we branch off to additional methods of generating traffic and backlinks.
Some of these other methods can be time consuming or cost money, so I was just wondering if it's recommended to stick to Posterous and blog posts until a decision is made. I'm getting decent traffic to my site, but I'm not getting any clicks on my Clickbank ad... I know the obvious answer is that my ad isn't attention grabbing enough, but I don't think that's the case, as my ad meets all the criteria in the tutorial earlier in the Challenge.
Youtube videos are free, and can help you get keyword traffic that you wouldn't get on Google, because of less keyword competition... However if a site is just in "test mode", I was thinking one wouldn't want to put their face/name stamp on a video series that may be discontinued if they felt their site didn't pass the test. I guess we could always remove the videos, right?
