    Market Samurai Rank Tracker

Can anyone tell me what the figures in the top left of the Market Samurai Rank Tracker screen mean i.e. the ones which say ''Primary Domain: mywebsite.com (G: 17, Y: 1, B: 3, BL: 23, PR: 0)''. It's the figures which refer to Google, Yahoo and Bing that I don't understand.

Could someone help me out here please?

    Regards, Kevin Walker.

Please don't take this the wrong way, but to be a successful marketer, you need to be able to take the ball and run with it.

When I looked at the list of videos on that page, this one practically punched me in the face: How to Analyze Your Rank Tracker Data and to answer your question, I didn't even have to watch the video, I just quickly scrolled down the transcript until I saw a picture with those numbers circled in red and there was my answer. The whole thing took about one minute.

I know how easy it is to feel overwhelmed by all of this in the beginning, but go into it knowing that there will ALWAYS be new questions that come up and being able to find answers quickly on your own is a necessary skill and there is no question that you have the ability to do that, you just need to trust your own abilities a bit more.

Hi Dean, sorry about this I've actually watched that particular video as well!! - sometimes I don't see what's right under my big fat hooter (that's nose in the UK ) LOL!!
I have another one regarding the data in the MS Rank Tracker module and that is in the ''Ranking Page'' column where the URL is listed just to the left of the URL is either a letter D or a U. I've searched high and low for this one and have found nothing. What do the letters stand for and what is their significance? Do you have the answer Guru Dean? Lol.

    Regards, Kevin.

D and U refer to where your site moved in the rankings from the previous time you used rank tracker.

Did it move "Up" or "Down" in the rankings.

The stats in my Rank Tracker do not reflect this assumption since they are at variance with the colour coding of the Broad and Phrase Positions in the GYB columns to the left of this window in Rank Tracker i.e. the figures in these GYB columns are red when they should be green and visa versa indicating an upward (green) or a downward (red) movement in ranking!

I hope this makes sense, if not then please reply but either way get back to clarify.

    Many thanks, Kew

Well for my site I have some keywords that have a green for google, but a red for yahoo or bing. I think if there is at least 1 of those GYB that are red then you'll see a D instead of a U even if 1 of those are green and have moved up in the rankings.

That is purely a guess though. I'd go over to the noblesamurai forum and see if there is any explanations.
