Why Didn't Someone Tell Us That It's Good To 'Slash' Ourselves.

Okay, maybe that's a little dramatic. But I never realized until I started The Challenge, and sign up for WPD, that 'one essential' thing no one has ever mentioned, hinted or told us...

It's good to 'slash' your Micro-niche URL. like this: mymicroniche.com/

See the slash ( / ) at the end of the URL.

Because I wanted to keep me URLs spiffy clean, I've always tried to swipe, or can I say slash.. , that slash off my URLs.

After putting the question to Google, slash after url, I got a lot of supporting pages recommending to use the ( / ).

I just wanted to share this, especially to you (facetiously) fortunate ones who may have gone down burning as I have when trying to link our WPD to GA. I tried three times. As always, WPD support was always there to fix things up.

But if I had known about that ( / ), I wouldn't have been working those poor folks at WPD overtime on straightening out my link to GA.

There. Finally. Some one bold has stood up.

So any Newbies like myself. We now know that it's good to 'slash' ourselves...ourselves being 'our micro-niche domains'.

Appreciate any feedback from experience members, especially if I'm wrong, or off on some points.

Yeah, don't they lock you up for slashing yourself? They give it a fancy name "cutting" and give you a fine room with funny thick white wallpaper and a really-really long-sleeved jacket.

I think it depends on the application more than anything whether the / should be added or not, but it's a good reminder that if it doesn't work one way to try the other.
