    Clickbank

Where do you go to see if there have been any clicks on the ad? I can see there are no sales, but equally, it doesn't look like Clickbank recognizes I had an ad up either.
Are there any tutorials around that you through this kind of diagnostic analysis?
    Thanks for any advice.

    Juliet,

After logging in to Clickbank, click on the red "Reporting" tab at the top of the page. From there, you'll have a few different options, but to see your click rates, choose "Analytics" in the yellow row just below.

There are plenty of very good tutorials on Clickbank available on the Web by Google search. You can also search through the Clickbank marketplace for Clickbank "how to," "getting started," and "Clickbank for Dummies" types of products.

    JulietJohnson,

Try using CB's (Original) Analytics Reporting.........http://www.clickbank.com/help/accoun...ting-original/
    Here are the data points:
To access ClickBank’s original analytics reporting, go to the Reporting tab and select Analytics on the sub navigation. Then, under the left hand navigation, click the link that says Back to Original Analytics. This will take you to Transaction Analytics, which allows you to select parameters in order to group transaction data by tracking code, vendor, affiliate, vendor, product, and hour of the day.

You may view the most recent 90 days of aggregated transaction data. Hop data is only available for the most recent thirty days.

The report will produce results for the time period and parameters selected. The columns in the result set may vary from report to report.

    # Hops: The total number of Hops.
    # Sales: The total number of sales.
    # Refunds: The total number of refunds.
    # Chargebacks: The total number of chargebacks.
    # Net Sales: The total number of sales minus refunds and chargebacks.
$ Sales: The gross sales dollars.
$ Refunds: The total refund dollars.
$ Chargebacks: The total chargebacks dollars.
$ Net Sales: The gross sales dollars minus refunds and chargebacks.
Average $ Per Sale: The average dollar amount per sale.
Hops Per Order: The total number of Hops per order.
$ Per Hop: The total amount of gross sales dollars per Hop.
% Of Sales $: The percentage of overall gross sales dollars.
Refund %: The percentage of gross sales dollars that were refunded.
Chargeback %: The percentage of gross sales dollars that were charged back.

Really, you should be hearing from a Forum Moderator soon. However, and for now there are, of course, many sites for further study. I can suggest the #1 position in Google by Harvey Segal:

But again, wait to hear back from a Forum Moderator. Good Luck!

    Mike,

Thanks for your very detailed response. Although I am a moderator, I don't consider myself to be a Clickbank authority by any stretch. Your extra input is quite appreciated.

    Mike,
I didn't see any back to original analytics tab that you mentioned but I do see the Analytics tab and then the info you mentioned under View As Affiliate. When they say "hop" I assume that is the click on the ad impression? Is that right? I assume for the challenge we are looking at getting 1 sale out of 200 hops. Is that correct? Thanks, Fern

I am having the same problem with both clickbank and amazon as I have more than one site. It is showing no ads created, no tracking code etc although I did input it all through market samurai and it showed that day when I clicked the ads to check they were correct. I have followed the directions above but nothing still.

    Fern,

Close. It is (for our purposes) the affiliate's unique identifier. That is due to me calling it a hop. Data Network Jargon....1 point-to-point link(s) in a transmission path = a hop. It is actually a CB hoplink...and then you have your CB hopad, etc. It's an analytical nightmare at times. That is why they make Manager Software for this stuff. Way beyond our focus here. Even you too can become exhausted looking at CB's Help on the subject.

As to the question concerning (Original) and the (New) Reporting....the (New) is a CB Pilot Project for enhanced reporting. For now, it is coupled with the (Original) CB Reporting System. I am assuming at some point the Project will be accepted or abandoned and we will be back to One CB Reporting System. Doesn't do us much for our task at hand.

In this instance we are using a hop as an impression.

Mike - most awesome explanations - thank you!

If you are not seeing any CB data, you need to contact THEIR support. Remember - if you have any issues with a tool you are using, the best solution provider is going to be the support team for that tool. Clickbank support generally respond within 24 hours.

You have plenty of time to ask such questions of them. Also go through their FAQ section as Kasey suggests - it's VERY extensive.

    Best
