Made Youtube Video, Where To Post

    Hi Everyone,

I just finished posting a Youtube video for my niche. Should I also embed this video to my own blog or should it go onto my Posterous? Or should it just be on Youtube? I have a link in the video description pointing back to my blog.

    Thanks,
    Scott

Just think of your video as another post. If this were a blog post instead of video would you put it on your main blog or post to posterous? It all depends on what type of content is within the video. If it is meant to drive traffic to your main site, then posterous would be the choice I would make.

The question I would ask is if the information in the video would be valuable to the people who come to my blog. If the answer is yes then I would definitely include it as a post on my blog.

I've made a YouTube video too and I embedded it directly into a blog post on my main blog but sent out a notification with a link to my posterous.

The great thing about a Video is that you can host it on YouTube and have a backlink to your main blog, add it to your blog with a few lines of comment (Google will see this as fresh content), add to your Facebook page, feed through posterous, add to a couple of other videos directories (with slightly different descriptions and backlinks to your blog) etc. and it serves multiple purposes!

I've seen several sites like the one that vstar mentions above i.e. www.tubemogul.com. Another one is Traffic Geyser. Can anyone advise is this deemed as spamming a video, or can the technique be used?
    Thanks,

my advice on posting video to posterous is :
upload the video only to posterous and click on advanced options and uncheck all blogs except youtube and viemo. then click post. wait for a while and check your youtube channel. if the video there, copy the shared url and create a new post to posterous and include the sharing link . and now post it to all. don't forget do delete the other post on posterous with the video alone.
Ok, I have nothing to say. Do you?
