    Question Aligning photos in WPD?

    Hi Everyone,
This isn't really very "Module 5 related", but I wasn't sure where else to post it, so here we go...
I've been having trouble aligning my photos in posts on my WPD site. First, I've found that I've had to upload my photos onto imageshack.com to get a URL for the photo. Then I choose the alignment. (left, right, etc) When I go to save the post, however, the alignment doesn't save and the photos just cut a chunk out of the page. (if you get me.)
Has anybody got the same problem?
    Thanks!

Okay! Sorry again. I've just done some more research on it, and I found the answer.

    Hey

Just one thing to add. I see you were using imageshack which I had not heard about but is this better than just uploading straight through the image upload function in WPD?

    Thanks

    Hey,
If you just upload the images straight from your computer via WPD, I've found I can't align them.
So I upload them onto Imageshack.us (Note: US) Then I copy and paste the "direct Photo link" in the place of the URL in: <IMG SRC="url" ALIGN="LEFT">, (RIGHT for right alignment)
Hopefully this isn't confusing! It's just my way of doing things! Yes, it is a bit fiddly, but it looks very nice.
The challenge team haven't said anything about image shack. I just use it to get my image URL.

    Hey Buffykins,

Thanks for sharing this link. What an awesome HTML/CSS site that gives super-simple-easy-to-understand-instructions when it comes to for us to 'play with our Web-Code'. I love the colors tab and how easy it is to learn what those all important color codes are.

A conclusion is the place where you got tired of thinking.
