Question My blogpost re-written on a new blog on the same niche

    Hi,

I noticed a post trough Google alerts with the same title as my first blogpost in this challenge. So I looked up the site. It is a wordpress.com site on the same topic with about 6 posts.

My post is the same, however some words/sentences are rewritten. Kinda like someone took it through google translator to another language and then back to english. Some words have an affiliate link on this blog. I'm gonna write the guy of course..

I was wondering, is this something the auto-create feature of WPD does to create content?

    Hey playah12,

That sux when that happens.. It is a common problem though, but most times people do a better job of re-righting the content so that it isn't a match for the original.
I don't know about the auto-create feature of WPD, what most do is run your content through a content article spinner.

I wouldn't worry to much, using these methods are the lazy way out and wont make them a market leader, you will leave them in your rear view mirror as your site rises through Google.

WPD would certainly not take your blog post and mess with it so that it could be posted on someone else's blog. This is just lazy marketing and plagiarism from the owner of that blog.

I just noticed this same thing happened to me today. Should I worry about it? Contact the blog or just let it be for the time being?

I contacted wordpress about this, just to test their reaction and this is what they said:

    Hi,
http://xxxxxxxxxxxx.wordpress.com/ has been suspended as spam, so the article copyring your contents has also been removed.

    Hi there

Your situation is something that has played on my mind regarding copyright. How do we go about setting up the copyright on our blog. I know it wont stop people copying the blog and changing words but at least there is a legal standpoint.

Would somebody like to give me a headsup in this ?

    Thanks in advance
