Market Samurai Keyword Research no longer working properly

For the last four days I've been getting the following error when I click on Generate Keywords in Keyword Research:

"Market Samurai has found no suggestions from the Google Synonym Tool. This may have occurred if Google's data-centers are updating, or if the adult content option in Project Settings is disabled."

Ok, I thought maybe Google was doing something or other, so I left it to try later. Again no luck.
Tried the next day. Then the next, same result each time.

It no longer requests a captcha phrase, but gives the above error message straightaway.

Plus I notice at the bottom of the Keywords analysis it says:

"difficulty retrieving 2 cells: Adwords data, Organic traffic data.

The SEOT and PBR columns are now always empty.

All it returns are the SEOC, SEOTC, SEOTCR and OCI data columns

    - I've checked the "adult content option" and this is enabled.

    - I always enter SEOT=80, PBR = 15 and SEOC = 30000, plus Google search keywords is activated.

    - I've tried entering many different keywords, tried creating new projects, but same result every time.

    - I have plenty of space on my hard drive and havent moved any directories or anything.

    - My Market Samurai still has 50 days to run.

    - I have the latest updates of Market Samurai installed

Does anyone have an idea what could be causing this problem?

    Thanks in advance!

Felixcat definitely time for a support ticket to MS. They are great there and will probably have you sorted in not time.

    Sandra is right Felicat:

Here is the rule pertaining to this:

    11. Please contact the support team of the 3rd Party (Market Samurai, WPD etc) tool you are using, as opposed to posting the Support issue on The Challenge Forum.

The Challenge forum is for questions pertaining to The Challenge strategy.

Each third party tool we have, has their own extensive Support Service. It is the expectation you contact them for Support about their tool as opposed to looking for Support from The Forum.

So you would go to either:

    Market Samurai: http://www.noblesamurai.com/support/

    Word Press Direct: http://www.wpdirect.com/support

How this will be moderated: Moderators will direct you to go to the relevant Support Service and close your post.

    Hello Felixcat,

I had basically the same problem today with the same error message, but it was because my wireless network temporarely disconneted from the Internet. The message only shows up if MS cannot get to the Interet.

MS is working fine. Maybee you should check you connection to the Internet. After I rebooted my router I was back on line with no problems. It is definetly your connection to the Internet.

I hope the mods will excuse me posting this follow up...

It may be useful to other people who also have this problem right now.

I checked with the Market Samurai site and it does appear that there's a known issue here with Google right now in some areas that the team are already aware of.

(It's not an Internet problem in my case, that's working ok - I wouldn't be able to post this if it wasn't).

Not Getting Anything Back from Google

    Solution
RE: ZERO's APPEARING IN ANALYSIS RESULTS, AND NO DATA APPEARING IN KEYWORD GENERATION PHASE

It looks like Google is currently updating all of their search traffic data in their data-centres.

The process is existing keywords are deleted from Google's system, then the new data is loaded. That means the previous months search results data is being loaded into the system, and all keyword traffic data is being updated.

For keywords that are currently being updated, you will notice that there is no search traffic data for these keywords.

If you are generating keywords, and have the "SEO Traffic Filter" option ticked, this will mean no keywords appear in your results.

This problem will fix itself as soon as Google has completed its traffic data update.

However, in the mean-time if you are analyzing keywords, use the Adwords Traffic Data tools as your point of analysis.

The "Adwords Traffic Filter" will remove keywords that do not have any traffic in the Keyword Generation phase.

Using the "Adwords" analysis options, rather than the "Organic" analysis options will give you a benchmark traffic level. Multiply the Adwords traffic data by 10 to give you an indication of the search traffic in a market.

We've also prepared a video on this that you can find at:

    http://www.noblesamurai.com/support/tutorials/

See the "Overview of Market Samurai v0.53" video. From roughly 2 minutes and 30 seconds onwards, the video explains how to gather or benchmark traffic data.

UPDATE: ALSO SEE A THE "GOOGLE STARVE" VIDEO DEDICATED TO THIS AT: http://www.noblesamurai.com/support/tutorials/

UPDATE: We have also found that users who have internet speeds which are below 256Kbps are unable to get keywords back from Google. If you are having this problem continuously this may be the cause.

Our developers are working on a fix for this problem.

In the meantime if you would not like to wait for this fix then please contact support determine if this is the cause, and arrange a refund if you wish one.

Thanks Felix for the correction. I guess I had several problems going on the same time. Internet access, etc.
