    Day4-Theme-cat keywords Help!

    Hello Everyone ,

I am about to start an ecommerce store shortly but i am stuck in deciding my niche.I am stuck in the Day 4 module. I am unable to get any category keywords related to the theme.

From a market i found 4-5 niche's that have seoc of less than 30000.I selected one of them and did keyword research on it with the filters of 80-15-30000 once again and found no keyword related to that niche. The issue is the same with the other 4 niches. But these niches have less than 30000 seoc and i can get suppliers easily for it to sell my products.

Do i just pick any one from 4-5 niches i found without category keywords and proceed with opening up my e-store and make my own category keywords?

Any advice is very much appreciated!

    Thank you.

You are pretty determined to focus on the end product result here and that is NOT the purpose of this Challenge - Rewatch Ed's Magnificent Symphony lesson ( http://challenge.co/training/2010/pre/day6/ ) and you will see that this is a poor approach. You NEED to see how Google works and if you plan to make up keywords that YOU think appropriate for a niche then you are likely to be sadly disappointed with your traffic. Find a niche that you can follow the Challenge process with then later on apply it to setting up an ecommerce store if you still want to.

    Me Thinks You Doth Attached!

You asked for advice, so here it comes...

I recommend you make a decision to do The Challenge as we teach it. To let go of any preconceived ideas or agenda's you had (I had to do the same when I first did The Challenge and I am SO GLAD I did - my life is all the better for it - truly!).

And once you make that decision, as part of getting onto the true path of The Challenge and implementing the Training, it will mean you wave good bye for now to those ideas.

As if you do not have category keywords - and only a great Theme Keyword - you are shooting yourself in the foot, arm and head quite frankly.

    So...what will it be?!

    Best

Thank you Caro and Bill for your advice... I watched the video you gave me Bill and that really helped me out.I was able to find my niche with 4 category keywords and the theme keyword.

I have another question...Can i add the sub categories myself or do i need to use the market samurai again for each of the category keyword to get the sub category?
By the way i already did that and nothing related to the category came up.I mean each of my category has 4 style names which people obviously know about but market samurai doesn't show those style names.

So,can i add those styles after each of the category keywords? That gives me 4 sub categories for 1 category keyword? Total 16 sub categories for 4 category keywords.

    Thank you once again! :-)

Still think you are jumping ahead... Who said anything about sub categories? I think you are assuming what you are going to create.

We have another six modules to go.....
